This works really well indeed. The only issue I have is that when logging off the Citrix Session closes really fast and therefore the settings in Workspace Manager (Express Edition) are not saved back. Any suggestions where to look at first? On (XP-Desktops with the same configuration the settings are written back before logoff).

Load info is compressed so after some testing Citrix decided that the load info traffic burden is no longer an issue. Citrix states that it's a best practice now to use a single zone in XA6 and up. Use worker groups and load balancing policies instead.

Why do you write "still" in your article? Is there a alternative to application streaming?

In order to use Citrix Receiver you will also need either XenApp or XenDesktop to publish the Windows apps or virtual desktops. A simpler and less costly alternative is Ericom AccessNow, a pure HTML5 RDP client that enables Chromebook/ChromeOS users to connect to any RDP host, including Terminal Server (RDS Session Host), physical desktops or VDI virtual desktops – and run their applications and desktops in a browser. AccessNow is a fraction of the price of Citrix Receiver and installs in a few minutes.

Ericom‘s AccessNow does not require Java, Flash, Silverlight, ActiveX, or any other underlying technology to be installed on end-user devices – an HTML5 browser is all that is required.

For more info, and to download a demo, visit:
http://www.ericom.com/html5_RDP_Chromebook.asp?URL_ID=708

Note: I work for Ericom

Yes ofcourse I was surprised but i knew it should be hidden somewhere in between load balancing, policies and Worker groups.

Just to make this complete a link to the EDocs:

Don't know. Basically I used it for a clipboard redirection from client to server, it is a client setting so I don't believe this will help on the remote desktop.

Does this also fix copy/paste freezing when copy/paste is being done WITHIN a XenApp full desktop??

This is the issue we are having, with no obvious clues in the event log etc.
