Basic steps

Before consulting the Citrix KB articles or resources, make sure the issue you have is Citrix related. There are some basis steps to determine:

  • Does the same issue happens on the console of the Citrix server also (e.a in case of an application failure)?
  • Does the same issue happens with RDP/TSRemoteApp?
  • Does the version of the ICA Client/Online Plugin influences the behaviour?

The SsOnExpert tool is a command-line based application that automates the process of checking common causes of Single Sign On issues in XenApp environments. The tool can be used to verify configuration settings both from the console and remotely.

CTX126491 HDX Experience Monitor

This tool provides detailed information about the various HDX technologies, their performance, and diagnostics information. It is a similar tool as HDX Experience Monitor for XenDesktop.
